The fiber artist in my life, Ann, has recently been getting to know my niece B.J. This relationship has been building in a crazy round about way.

Last night, the Riverside Fine Arts Association presented the Rad Trads in the first concert of the 2016-17 series with moi as the featured artist.

I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected as the Artist-in-Residence by the Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville for their 2017-2018 season.

I have been going to the same hairdresser for seventeen years, just two blocks from my home. I really like Joe, and he seems to like visiting with me.

My 91-year-old mother is a musician. She played piano and organ at our church in New Philadelphia, Ohio until Alzheimer’s disease robbed her of her abilities.

Before I start a painting, I explore a lot of music—pieces that have interesting rhythms, melodies and harmonies. Compositions that stir me emotionally are what move my brush into a meaningful experience for the observer.
